Mirro 22-Quart Aluminum Pressure Cooker/Canner
What people say about Mirro 22-Quart Aluminum Pressure Cooker/Canner (by T-FAL CORPORATION):
Pressure Canner. This is the first time I have ever owned a pressure canner, but the other reviewers are correct, the jiggler on top is much easier to use than the gauge type (which I borrowed from my aunt). Good product, abysmal instructions. I'm a novice canner, I've only used the water bath method, and I've never used a pressure cooker or canner - and quite frankly, they terrify me. Great service. The product was exactly as described. Great buy. Perfect for the job of canning. Great product! I am extremely impressed with this product! Love it! This is a sleek & sexy pressure cooker/canner! Good pressure canner. We haven't done any canning with it yet, but it looks good. Mirro pressure cooker 22 Qt. Excellent canner, done the job for winter canning in 3 days. Picture Looks Like Presto? I'm curious about the picture as I never saw a Mirro with a dial. High Quality. I use this canner approximately twice a month.
Very happy with the high quality. I am so happy with the high quality of this pressure canner. Weights included
I was happy with this purchase because it comes with the 5 lb, 10 lb and 15 lb pressure weights. Just what I wanted. I love my new pressure canner. Pressure cooker canner. I have just used the pressure cooker canner once and was very satisfied with the professional canning job and in such quick time too. Great Deal! The pressure canner was at a really good price and is exactly what I wanted. Great for the novice canner! After two months of searching for the perfect canner and stewing over the decision of size and type, I finally settled on the 22 qt Mirro. Glad to find this one ... After reviewing many options, I decided on this model because it has the weighted pressure control rather than the pressure gauge, which seemed to have a higher incidence of issues and failures. Great for large canning jobs. It will soon be time to visit the farmers' markets across the country, and this is the canner that can kelp you lay up your own no-preservatives-or salt added foods. Easy to use, large capacity, light weight. This pressure canner is much lighter weight then the one that it replaced. Wrong, Wrong Wrong... I purchased this canner based on reviews I found here.
Easy to use when you have all of the information! OK. This is the canner you should get! I know about canners. Excellent product. This very large canner/pressure cooker is an excellent value. Get an All-American Pressure Canner Instead. I bought one of these and it felt flimsy. Great canner. We love this for canning. Not for the novice pressure canner. I have been doing water bath canning for a while and wanted to make a leap to pressure canning. Mirro offers ONLY 3 replacement parts! We bought this pressure cooker new but didn't use it for a few months. BIG. BIG is the best way I can think of to describe this item- hence, my reason for purchasing it. NOT FOR USE ON CERAMIC OR GLASS ELECTRIC RANGES. Though it is a beautiful product, it says right on the box (and a call to Mirro verified it) that this pressure canner is NOT FOR USE ON GLASS OR CERAMIC COOKTOPS. It's the best. You get three weights, two shelves, a complete instruction manual leaving no questions left for canning success. Again, the best canner at 22 Qts.
