Works great! Very happy with this product. Didn't last very long. I bought this coffee pot about a year ago and only used it occasionally. Farberware Percolator. I have had this percolator for about 5 weeks and I LOVE it. Disappointed. This is the third Farberware 4-12 cup maker I've had, and all have had the same problem. GREAT!!!! I have been using this coffee pot since I received it, and I couldn't be happier with it! 'ol faithful brews a reliable, delicious cup of joe. I've happilly enjoyed Farberware's larger 20-cup electric percolator that is still brewing some wonderful coffee after 10 years. Not worth the money. Yes, it makes great coffee, but it only worked for about one year. Heaven in a pot. I love this coffee pot! This is the percolator to get! First of all, perked coffee is the way to go. Tastes the Same, Regardless of Coffee Bean. This percolator makes a strong cup of coffee, which is how I prefer it, and somehow neutralizes advantages between different coffee beans.

Very bummed:( Bought it for myself for Christmas, went to use it and found that the top is so tight and hard to take off I had to practically tackle it. Excellent Product! Faberware old world . Some times you need just that 1 cup in the morning before work, Is what my Sis use to say . Maybe I'm doing something wrong... Had the same pot for years but let water get into the base socket and it rusted out. 0 for 2. I have purchased 2 of these pots in the last 16 months. Great while it works.
